Just over a year old now and a complete softy who likes to roam around any house that has a door open. We’ve also had multiple birds and mice delivered over the last few weeks!

Once in a while you get rewarded for those early mornings. Bordeaux under a blanket of rain with the sun trying to push through, giving an amazing sky.

Power run down the cliffs to get to Marble Bay in time for sunrise. Imagine Sonic’s legs at full speed, that’s what it felt like!
Decided to give the cave another go as the tide was out. A few more clouds would have been nice but you can’t with the all.

Gorgeous, still evening at one the highest points on the common. I had to add me in for scale.

As the skies greyed over, my mind was shouting black and white. Sketchy waves nearly had me a few times and the sea spray wrote off 8most of the images!

The gap on the horizon looked promising but the wind pushed the thicker moody clouds east. An almost could have been moment.

In the National Trust grounds of Le Moulin de Bas, set back from the now working water wheel, the geese were guarding their patch. Lots of ducklings running around too! It felt like a scene from an old ladybird book, back in the day.

Kids loved it, I loved it and I think everyone else in the crowd loved it too. I will be returning next year!

I was hoping for a more dramatic stormy end to the day but it didn’t really happen. Still a great display of Thrift along the coast.

I’ve always liked the look of these cosy little cottages along the west coast. The thought of a roaring fire watching the waves crasher in the winter seems more appealing as I get older.

Still waiting for that 2022 ultimate sunrise! These clouds thinned out pretty quickly as I left home so didn't quite live up to expectations but hopefully with the warmer weather comes some epic storm clouds.

Took the long way home to find a ‘classic Guernsey’ image. Bordeaux always has some interesting fishing boats and these beauties have had a fresh lick of paint and the flag was still flying proud from Liberation Day.

The biggest celebrations in the Guernsey calendar, Liberation Day. Popped up to L’Ancrsse to watch the cavalcade with an hour stop to check out the vehicles. Happy Liberation Day folks!

Saved this little mouse from ‘Death by Cat’, which I think it was grateful for. It was only about the size of my thumb!

Another early shift in Herm to build the final pieces of furniture for the season. The island is definitely back in full summer mode.
