TELEGRAPH BAY

27.12.22

An awkward bay to access and photograph, especially at high tide. There’s a 20 metre sheer drop over this edge which is sketchy enough under the feet!

Shooting into the shadows and direct sun isn’t ideal but I managed to keep the details in both ranges.

COBO

Summer just pushed even further away and the reality of living on a rock in the middle ion the English Channel kicked in again. The storms are coming…

QUAYSIDE

06.09.22

A half arsed attempt to capture sunrise. Some days I just don’t give myself enough time to get the creative juices flowing but it was pretty cool to see the massive burst of light poking through the gap in the clouds!

DARK & MOODY

15.01.19

Just over two weeks in to 2019 and I believe there’s only been 8 minutes of sunshine in Guernsey so far and I’ve probably seen about 5 of them.

I want to try this again on a misty day to isolate those alien like branches. Reminds me of the monster from Stranger Things.

BEC DU NEZ

22.10.18

With winter just around the corner, the weather plays a big part in managing this project. The only way I can get through the winter months is to plan a few days in advance with different locations for different weather scenarios. When it all goes wrong, ill have to come up with a plan b, c or d!
