I’ve always loved the look of this house, nestled in a quite lane below St Saviours church. Lookalike the gardening team have had a good year!

A thin slither on the horizon was enough to let the sun burst through some epic colour into the sky. I wish I’d taken a phot of the castle behind me because it was a surreal orange fortress.

Some days I’ll just drive the length of the island to unwind and listen to some flat out progressive trance on the the way. This is what I call a ‘grab shot’ but it feels very Guernsey!
I’m just passing the days till the big storms start rolling in so I can find that spark again.

One of the many steep routes from the top of St Peter Port, winding all the way through town to the seafront.

The first morning in a long time it’s felt properly cold. I do love the colder months but I’m going to have to retire the shorts until Easter I think!

I just missed the epic sun rays poking though but as the light faded it reminded me of the colder, darker winter months chasing the light and how much I enjoyed the thrill of the winter storms.

Exploring the ground of the old Cart Tea Rooms and this little fella landed within arms reach of me, I assume hoping for some food.

Took myself for a nice Sunday sunrise stroll down the the Pine Forest. To say it’s nearly mid September, it felt like mid summer.

Chewie was chilling in the garden in the last little pocket of light. Had to grab a picture for the album.

Quick wander through town after work. This end of town has so much more potential but it just feels like its been abandoned in places.

A big day for Alana who started St Sampson High today and Finley moved up to Year 4! Where have the years gone! I’ll have two teenagers before I know it.

Gambled a long drive in the hope the sun would break through and sure enough it did, for about 2 minutes.

A half arsed attempt to capture sunrise. Some days I just don’t give myself enough time to get the creative juices flowing but it was pretty cool to see the massive burst of light poking through the gap in the clouds!

Awesome cloud day if your a weather geek like me. Sun, cloud, rain, thunder, lighting and colourful skies to end.
I’ve also wanted a fresh perspective on this kiosk for years but never had the right vibes. This felt right for me and I can now let it go!

Beautiful rain curtain drifting across the channel this morning. A feint rainbow did start to appear behind but it never quite popped.
A classic jumping spot at high tide for us Guern’s, Tommy Rock!

Another day of not knowing wtf I want to shoot or how to go about it. Truth is I think the long summer and early starts and late nights has just taken it’s toll and I’m ready for winter mode.
