Awesome cloud day if your a weather geek like me. Sun, cloud, rain, thunder, lighting and colourful skies to end.
I’ve also wanted a fresh perspective on this kiosk for years but never had the right vibes. This felt right for me and I can now let it go!

My plan was to chase the thunder and lightning in the early hours but that was short lived. Instead, once the gorgeous orange glow burst over the horizon, I focused my efforts on the rain clouds heading in from behind. As an added bonus, a rainbow appeared in the mix.

Gave up shooting into the rain trying to capture the lightning, got a bit fed up of cleaning the camera after every shot! Turned my attention to the colourful sky to the North instead, slightly more sheltered than the east coast.

Summer lightning storms off the east coast this afternoon. I was headed for Petit Port but the rumble of thunder was too much to resist. Didn’t capture any lightning strikes but the display was phenominal. The yacht in the foreground and Condor in the middle puts the scale of the clouds into perspective.
