Spent the afternoon in Herm with my favourite humans. It really is such a lovely little island. Alana even said it felt like a little holiday on the way home.

Playing catch up with some edits. Yesterday’s miserable sunrise was not worth getting out of bed for but I quite like this one in black + white.

Not quite a secret as such but this beach is tucked away hidden from view next to Petit Bot and is only accessible by sea or an extremely dodgy rock scramble from the zig zag grassy path opposite. Even then, the latter is only possible at low tide.

5am, L’Ancresse common. A beautiful soft mist covering almost the entire low lying land.

Couldn’t find a composition I like around the Vale Church but the sky was amazing tonight. Summer start here I think!

With the impending rain storms, I knew an early rise was my only chance to capture something worth looking at. It started pretty bland but as the clouds started to roll in, things started to look a little brighter.

After yesterdays poor attempt at capturing a rainbow, today I knew exactly where I needed to be and this one didn’t disappoint!

After an unsuccessful trip this morning, the drive home gave a little taste of a rainbow.

Seriously lacking motivation today. One of those days where you know there’s so much that needs to be done you just want to hide away and hope it sorts itself out. Didn’t happen!
Literally parked the car up at Rousse, jumped out, Snapped this and spent about 10 minutes editing.
Onwards and upwards!

After 6 months in the care of the GSPCA, I had a call to collect Jalfrezi, the hedgehog I found full of ticks back in November last year. He’s been well looked after, hibernated and now he’s more than keen to get back out into the world. He seems quite content around humans too. Just hope he stays away from the roads!

Making the most of the pleasant weather before shit hits the fan again. Fermain looking amazing as always, our little slice of the the med on the east coast.

Another flat out, non stop day. Tried to get up before sunrise this morning but just couldn't face it. Dark and moody scenes from Les Amarreurs with the fishing boat just about staying still for this shot.

Today was what is commonly referred to a ‘creative block’. Absolute blank mind, and after nearly three weeks of part time decorating, my mind is fried. The sunset was the best it got for me.

If I had to depict Guernsey in one image, this would probably be it. Even on a wet and windy day, there’s always a chance there'll be some light to play with, even when it only last for less than a minute!

Right up there with with one of my favourite spots to just sit on the cliffs and just stare out to sea. What made this stand out for me was the sunlight rolling over the beach and the cliffs face as the clouds drifted across.
Everything is looking so green, I love it!

Guernsey has some stunning homes, even more so towards the middle of May when all the Wisteria starts to bloom as it grows strategically around the doors and windows of the buildings.

Probably up there with one of the more random call outs received. The umbrella was badly damaged but safely reunited with the owners. And everyone went home…the end.
