THE EDGE OF SPRING

24.03.22

Now our office is based in the north of the island, I rarely get a change to venture to the south coast but today was so nice it just had to be done, even it was only for ten minutes!

Season - somewhere towards the edge of spring with a very feint hint of summer.

Right up there with with one of my favourite spots to just sit on the cliffs and just stare out to sea. What made this stand out for me was the sunlight rolling over the beach and the cliffs face as the clouds drifted across.

Everything is looking so green, I love it!

GUERNSEY DAYS

06.05.20

A little rock in the middle of the channel, a place I like to call home. Spring into summer, walking the cliffs at this time of year is truly a memorable experience. Get up high and admire the views. Wildflowers as far as the eye can see and tropical blue waters.

ANYDAY

15.04.20

I’m off work this week but I swear every day feels like a Saturday at moment. Not a bad thing if your’e fortunate enough to still be employed.

With the sun shining I managed to get everyone down to the harbour at Le Gouffre and walk the long way back round the cliffs with very few complaints. Poor kids, it must feel like climbing Everest with their little legs.

LE GOUFFRE

21.09.19

One of the advantages of this hobby is the amount of walking involved to get to the places I love. No one ever said it would be easy but these eyes have seen Guernsey in pretty much every way I had always imagined. Sun, rain, cloud, gales, snow, thunder, you name it, I’ve experienced it. I almost feel like I’ve completed an RPG game that’s taken 5 years to complete! The final boss is winter…
