The calm before the storm. I’ve always thought a few deck chairs and a small table would finish off this store. Perfect for any weather but sunny morning really bring it to life.

Felt the warmth of the sun on my face today for the first time in what seems like forever! As a Guern, these days are best ended where our memories belong…on the beach.
04.02.20
Naval observation Tower MP3 at Pleinmont. One of 5 towers used for direction and range finding in WWII.
03.02.20
Quick Minecraft session before story time. I think I’m firm but fair with screen time in our house but I will make exceptions on the odd occasion. I’ll give it to them, some of the worlds the kids have created in Minecraft are quite remarkable. From secret underground portals to diving boards in the clouds, nothing is off limits!
02.02.20
One of those days where anything goes.
01.02.20
Freshly washed and trimmed dog who now only poses for the camera when a treat is in my hand.
31.01.20
Bellieuse farmhouse in the lanes behind St Martins church.
30.01.20
Just for fun, being out with the camera and a one sided conversation with a cow.
29.01.20
One upon a time, 10,000 years ago, Vazon used to be a forest. Over the winter months as the sand recedes, it’s remains become visible.
The view out the window behind my desk at work. The beauty of working near the west coast!
27.01.20
Creative use of an old Pine tree stump.
26.01.20
From the hustle and bustle of London to the quiet and deserted streets of St Peter Port on a Sunday morning.
25.01.20
After circling Guernsey around lunchtime for 30 minutes, the pilot returned us to Gatwick. 3 hours later we managed to get home. Staff were amazing and more than helpful.
24.02.20
Sympathetic redevelopment of King's Cross station in London turned an rundown, historic rail terminus into a dynamic transport hub. Really liked this.
23.01.20
The escalator up to the Space Zone, located somewhere in the maze of floor space inside this monster of a building.
22.01.20
The London Eye from Westminster. Typically overcast and bitterly cold winters day!
21.01.20
See it, live it, make it. If it makes you happy, do it!
20.01.20
I’ve seen some pretty amazing things in my life but this is up there with one of the best. The wonders of our planet never cease to amaze me.
19.01.20
The bay with no name, below the Pine Forest, next to Marble Bay. Felt a bit fresh on the old noggin out there!
18.01.20
Couldn’t let the day pass me by without diverting to the beach.
