Just enjoying the clouds!

Mid January, its wet, windy and pretty dull. Sheltered in the rural lanes you can always find some of Guernsey’s finest goats.
15.01.20
The most unreliable home security system on the market.
14.01.20
Violent 10-12 ft swell coming on off the west coast this morning. Got as close as I could with a wide lens without putting myself at risk. Even with a tripod and fairly high iso the camera shake was unavoidable.
13.01.20
A treat for the eyes this morning but the wave dodging was another story.
12.01.20
Relative calm before the storms roll in over the next few days.

It’s hard to find a good rustic barrel stash. Stumbled across this lot wandering around Beaucette Marina this morning.

Pleinmont headland looking out towarts the MP4 Range Finding Tower at L’Angle.

Its hard to believe that this is how high the midday sun gets in winter. A welcome site after all the grey days we’ve had so far.

Bleak, misty midwinter’s day on the rock. I do love wandering the lanes when it’s foggy.

Le Gouffre fishing store abstract. Shot this one a few years back, wanted a vertical composition to go with the ever growing collection.
06.01.20
Finally back to a normal working routine, carefully managing work/life balance.
05.01.20
Exploring Clarence Battery with these three little monkeys. Even got treated to a seal popping it’s head up a few time just off the Bathing Pools.
04.01.20
Beautiful colours in the sky in the distance. I had set up for a wider shot but this one needed a bit more reach.
03.01.20
Rusty tractor wheel. The effects of years of sand and sea water.
02.01.20
Historic brick kilns at Oatlands, a reminder of the once thriving brick making industry in Guernsey.
01.01.20
New decade, endless possibilities and a dslr that will never gather dust!
31.12.19
Now an annual tradition on New Years Eve and the end of my 5th 365 project. 1826 days and the drive is still there every day…
Happy New Year everybody!

Le Jaonnet Bay, probably the most difficult ‘sandy’ beach to get to, also a hotspot for the naturist in the warmer months.
29.12.19
When the weather gives high cloud, be sure to get out and see it. Stunning beach, stunning sunset!
