The temperature hit 21°C at 05:00 this morning. It genuinely felt like being on a hot holiday somewhere far south. Needless to say it was a great hike down but going up in jeans and a hoodie was testing the mind.

Five full suns in a row! Photographically they can get a bit dull but there’s nothing quite like being on your own watching the world wake up with only the sound of crashing waves and the distant hum of fishing boats at sea.

Burning off some calories from yesterday’s festivities with a trip to Marble Bay. Even saw a large pod of dolphins heading south, they were only a few hundred metres off shore.

The Pine Forest has always been an inspiring place for me, a little getaway from the 9 to 5. With the sun rising lower and lower each day the golden orange lasts for a little bit longer giving more chances to line up a shot to get the best image I can.
