Nobody is safe to sunbath nude with this one around!

Exploring the accessible caves at Petit Bot. Fresh rockfall on the beach made the other caves a bit too risky. Crap weather made life a little bit tricky today!

Revisiting a great little rocky bay on the west coast, dodging the waves and drifting sea spray. Back in training for winter mode!

Spend enough time studying the behavior of your subject and you soon realise they have a ‘patch’ they always come back to for a break. Wait even longer and they get used to your presence, allowing you to get within touching distance. Wait longer than that and they bid you farewell.

The tides were lapping over the edge of the pier at Les Amarreurs, just missed the golden glow as the sun went down but I still like this one.

And just like that, out little man officially turned 5 today. Such a sweet little boy with a heart of gold (most of the time) and we love him more than he will ever know :)

I think Alana genuinely fell in love today when she met Alice.

Technically Finley’s not 5 until Monday but today he celebrated with the boys from school. The happiness on his face when we gave him the cake was priceless.

Taking inspiration from a master craftsman and his visions of our stunning coastline. I thought the fog added a different twist on the famous painting. If you get time, go check out the other locations dotted and mapped out around Moulin Huet.

Another amazing performance by both kids. Alana came second in her running race, Finley came first in his and their whole house won overall. It know it’s not about the winning (it is deep down) but I’m so pleased for them. Little things like this really boost a child’s confidence!

10pm, a tad under 20 degrees and the wind was non existent but the creative juices weren’t flowing.

Another stunning and warm day on the rock. Managed a nice trip out west at lunchtime, just wish I’d had by swimming gear with me.

Spend enough time searching an eventually you will find what you’re looking for!

A small working harbour tucked away on the east coast.

Great start to the weekend doing what I love doing best. The sea was like glass this morning and you could hear the fishermen taking over half a mile a way. What a beauty!

Looking down towards Rocquaine Bay and beyond with quintessentially rural farmland rolling down the hillside.

The weather has been stunning this week but I wasn’t expecting anything special tonight. That said, chuck on a 10 stop filter and sometimes it just makes an image.

Stunning Guernsey views over Saints Bay. A short stroll from the road, you can feel miles away from life and out the wind it felt like being on holiday in southern Europe.

Built in the 60’s as a navigational aid, guiding ships to deeper water, its been recently renovated back to its former glory.
