It’s not until you do some research do you realise how much history Guernsey actually has. During the middle ages, around 1100-1200, St Peter Port used to be a small settlement built on steep cliffs. Half way down these steps there’s a passageway which marked the eastern boundary of the medieval town which lead down to a beach. I would love to go back (fully vaccinated) to see what it was like.

Been wanting to photograph this fort for a long time. The sun poked through for no more than 5 minutes just before sunset giving a gorgeous pinky/orange glow on the granite walls. Even spotted a seal about 20 metres from the slipway!
