Normally an event we do on a Sunday but this year we packed it into to an action packed day of scarecrows, pool swimming, lunching, ice creaming, sea swimming, parking and sun setting.

Our little man turns eight years old today. I’m so proud of him and I love him more than he will ever know. He’s my little hero and everything about him reminds me of me when I was his age. The same passion, the same struggles and the same disruptive charm. Happy birthday mate.
Also, what better way to spend your birthday than to have it one the last day of school when you know you’ll be doing sweet FA!

Our beautiful little girl turned 11 today. I never though time would actually fly as quickly as I was always told it when you have children but it really does. I have thousands of photographs to look back on but physically, time just turned into a blur over the last 11 years.

Flat out day for the girls with an early birthday party for Alana who turns 11 on Wednesday. She’s got a great little group of friends and they all get on so well together. Watching her have fun is all I need in life.

Our little soldier turned seven today. He’s such a kind little boy and has a heart of gold. Absolutely loves his dinosaurs and now even had a dino apron and chefs hat. In every way, he reminds me of myself as a child. Some days I watch him play and and it just takes me back 30 years.

Our not so little girl turned 10 today! The slow but ever more apparent transition into her teens is not something I’m ready for but she’ll always be my little angel. Something she said a few days ago stuck with me. We talked about friends and at the end, she told me I was one of her best friends. That right there is where it all makes you a proud parent.
