Inspired by local photographer and artist Tiffany Matthews, I tried my best to make it my own, as much as you can with two phone boxes.

Simple but I like it!

All the thermal layers were needed again. Bitterly cold winds and my feet went numb in my wellies! Didn’t have the enthusiasm to stick around till the end.

You’ve got to take every possible opportunity to be in the moment. Do it for yourself and nobody else!

Thousands of wildflower orchids to choose, the difficult part is isolating the right one.

A navigational marker on the east coast, or as I used to call it ‘The Ice Cream Cone’.

I’m genuinely gutted we couldn’t celebrate properly today, not only for Liberation Day but just being with all our mates and letting the kids mingle and have fun. On the plus side, I wasn’t drunk so I could shoot out and grab some photographs to make up for it.

The pontoons should be filling up with visiting yachts by now but instead, only the distant humming of the fishing boats could be heard.

Back in the office this week, only myself and the abundance of wildlife in the garden outside. This pheasant turns up every morning for a feed then disappears for the day.

A little rock in the middle of the channel, a place I like to call home. Spring into summer, walking the cliffs at this time of year is truly a memorable experience. Get up high and admire the views. Wildflowers as far as the eye can see and tropical blue waters.

Some people hang out a flag or two, maybe even some bunting. Then, there’s some heros who redecorate their homes! Respect where it’s due, this is an amazing effort.

The fog was really thick in the higher parishes for most of the day. Love the eerie atmosphere you can achieve with fog.

Alana’s at that age where she’s starting to care more about her hair (most of the time). She also wanted to be like her BFF Grace. The secret to this one, wet plaits overnight, take it out in the morning and ‘voila’! Don’t even need to fight those knots, and I can’t deal with knots in long hair!

We may not be able to celebrate Liberation Day properly, but the island is looking amazing this year.

Bringing a little Mediterranean vibe to a peaceful lane in St Martin.

Unless it’s pissing down with rain, I get up every day an hour before sunrise to hopefully see what I don’t want to miss. Some days are well worth it and even if it’s not, try again another day.

Wouldn’t be springtime without some ducklings to brighten up the day.

Found this Thrush chick struggling to fly, trying to get back up onto the earth bank where there were clearly a few more in a nearby nest. After seeing a car nearly squash it I decided to grab it and place it up on higher ground. Felt like Ace Ventura.
