ICE SKATING

20.12.21

First day of the Crimbo holidays. Nice early start on the ice rink. Alana stayed in bed and Finley loved it until near the end when the blade of my skate went over his hand. Brave lad held it together well and we later discussed how bad it could have gone if he’d lost a finger! Seemed to work, putting in into perspective.

FERMAIN

15.12.21

Really struggling to find inspiration the last few days. Decided to walk down to Fermain too seek said inspiration, only to find it wasn’t own there. The technical term is ‘creative block’! I’m sure it will pass, it always does.

PETIT BOT

13.12.21

A lone house nestled deep in the valley of Petit Bot. If we ever get a snow day again, this is where I’m heading first. This would look awesome with snow dusted trees and the road should be more visible. Watch this space!

NEW DAWN

09.12.21

Head in the sky at 06:30, there was a strong hint that the sky was going to burst into life. Some days it’s worth travelling the extra few miles to really experience these moments.

Every time I come down here there seems to be less and less pine trees. Either fallen in the wind or cut down at the need of their life. I’ve got a feeling the remaining pine’s won’t be around for too much longer.
