The official shortest day of the year which only means one thing…Summer is coming!!!
I like to mark the day with a landscape image but the weather had other ideas. I saw this tree reflecting in a rusty garden dish in a garden centre which reminded me of a giant setting sun.

More like the Winter Solstice!!! Same temp in places across the UK as it was 6 months ago in the winter. It’s a milestone in the year for me because it marks (almost) the middle of the year. The plans I had were out the window pretty early this morning so I had to mooch around town the evening to salvage a shot.
