Approaching the end of another decade, this view changes very little but the people we met and partied with will have many stories to tell. The after town house party’s, the all nighters, the fights, nights in the cell, the list goes on…

Our annual trip to Le Friquet cutting some shapes on the ice. Thanks to my Aunty and Uncle for gettingt he kids tickets for Christmas.

From a flat grey looking raw file it’s amazing how much colour you can pull from a chicken!

Spent my Christmas with the nearest and dearest but these two bring back the childhood magic to the day. They may get super hyped and go a little crazy but it just wouldn’t b the same without them.

Genuinely struggled to stand up with the wind blowing in down here. Not one to give up without a battle, held on for my life and the last rays of light just about peered through the clouds.
23.12.18
Quick trip to town with the kids to finish up the last few bits of shopping. This is also the last time I ever take the dog into town to get things done!
22.12.19
The only chance I had to grab a photo yesterday before the late morning Christmas festivities began.
21.12.19
Lacking any inspiration today but I do really like the kids decorations in their room.
20.12.19
Creative use of the hay bales this Christmas.

Spent most of my lunch break just sat here waiting in hope that a rainbow would appear as the rain drifted overhead. Unfortunately, this time it wasn’t meant to be.
18.12.19
Nice to see a bit of colour in sky this morning. Didn’t last for long before the rain returned.
17.12.19
It’s a tough time of year to be a turkey. If you’re still alive, the odds are probably with you to make it through till the new year!
16.12.19
Tried not to overthink things today. Set up a tripod with my back to the rain and just waited till someone placed themselves in the frame just how I wanted.
15.12.19
The unstoppable force of nature unleashing its ferocious beauty.
14.12.19
When it turns from a walking stick to a wooden willy, you know you’ve taught them well!
13.12.19
The finest pedigree herd on the island. Always enjoy photographing cows, there’s something therapeutic about them.
12.12.19
Alana’s turn to perform with her second show of the day. All the kids were fantastic and a great effort by everyone involved.
11.12.19
It’s December, it’s nearly Christmas so here’s a tastefully decorated farmhouse next to Queux Garden Centre.
10.12.19
A Breaking Bad Christmas special. Or a cute little sheep in his school nativity, not really feeling enthusiastic about the whole performance. Either way, it’s the taking part that counts.

The Old Quarter of St Peter Port looking very festive in December. I have to be honest, this part of town looks great, the rest, not so much. I’d be happy to throw in a tenner (along with a few thousand others) just to see something with a bit more of a wow factor next year! Freshen things up a bit. The same old, different year.
