There’s a new Heron in town, more specifically, Candie Gardens. I know it’s a different visitor because one, it freaks out whenever anyone gets close and hides in trees and two, its got both eyes. The older Heron’s left eye was missing.

Our little lady smashed the schhols gymnastics competition today. Unfortunately they didn’t win but like the headteacher pointed out, every girl had a smile on their faces once they’d finished their routine. Well done kids, you were all amazing.

High tides make life difficult to find a decent composition around the coast but there’s always something to be found if you look hard enough. The colourful sky does help to draw you in.

I official call Spring! There were six of these little dudes having a great time riding the stream. I stayed in one spot for about 15 minutes and they came right up to the puddle in front of me.

Couldn’t find any energy to even think about heading out today so here’s my pet Rattlesnake plant on my desk at work. I’ve named it Bruno so I can’t say too much more about it.

Last day of February and it was a stunning sunrise. Didn’t have long to get out of bed to a location, this is always a good spot to fall back on in emergencies.

These little pigs had no interest in building anything after their massive feed. The pink at the top is from my hand trying to block the glare from the low sun behind! Even the massive lens hood was useless.
