THE MILKY WAY

Back in the early 00's we used to head to L'Ancresse and stargaze with a few beers, with not a care in the world. Things are slightly different now but I still love to take an hour and just look up and wander what really is out there.

There were a few clouds blowing in with the icy breeze but I was happy with the overall composition of this shot. Photographing stars is always tricky, especially working with the light pollution almost anywhere you go in Guernsey, but finding a good foreground subject to fill the frame is the key.
